  BRONZE POWDERS
Bronze powders are available as standard, burnishing powders and water based bronze powders . Standard are coarser and burnishing are much finer in particle size. Most colours are made from copper and zinc. The silver colour is aluminium.

STANDARD POWDERS
Colours can be intermixed to produce a variety of shades.
To make a hard wearing metallic paint - mix with the ORMOUNE METALLIC PAINT MEDIUM Start with an 8:1 ratio. Can be applied to Wood, Metal, Sealed Plaster, Gesso.

ORMOLINE SEALER
is applied when the metallic paint is dry to give a protective gloss finish and to prevent tarnishing.

ACRYLIC WAX SEALER
on top of the Ormoline sealer will give a satin finish. Dead flat varnish or any spirit based matt varnish on top of Ormoline sealer gives a matt finish.

BURNISH POWDERS
Can be mixed in equal parts with Gilt Wax Medium and Varnish for a high burnish finish or with Ormoline Medium to produce a smooth paint. Gives a more even coating than standard powders.

WATER BASED POWDERS
Powders for mixing with water based mediums i.e Pigment binding medium (3 parts Pigment binding medium/1 part water); Acrylic Gloss medium (3:1)
