But in general, effective components can be analyzed including Tetracosanol, Hexacosanol and Dotriacontanol. Policosanol is a group of active compounds composed of predominantly five higher primary aliphatic alcohols-tetracosanol, hexacosanol, octacosanol, triacontanol and dotriacontanol.
