In 2012,Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holding Limited(GPC) reclaimed the right of production and marketing for red-can WANG LAO JI Herbal Tea and worked out a long-term plan for fast development.so far as brand construction is concerned, GPC set down”136 Development strategy”, which aims to make the national brand of WANG LAO JI into China’s Coca Cola, in its portfolio of products, GPC continued with the innovation and scientific development of WANG LAO JI Herbal Tea and Launched sugar-free herbal tea and solid herbal tea ,which cater to more consumers and provide them with more options, In June ,2013, GPC started cooperation with Dr.Ferid Murad, the winner of 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Father of Viagra, and Socsiete Generale de Surveillance Holding S.A. (SGS) to research international standard on herbal tea, an effort to launch the national brand of WANG LAO JI into the world market.
WANG LAO JI, while enjoying high-speed development, never forget rewarding the society. From the setup of RMB182.8 million charity fund, the funding campaign for economically deprived students to the investment of RMB300 million in building plant in the earthquake stricken Ya’an Prefecture ,WANG LAO JI has always contributed to and will continue to contribute to China’s charity program. |
