We are market aware and fully conversant with all relevant legislation, as members of CHAPS Health and Safety Scheme we adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and operate to an eco-friendly philosophy that maintains the highest ethical standards. Community Waste�� key environmental objective is to reach 100% diversion from landfill by finding new markets for all other materials that are part of their Materials Expansion Research Program (MERP). Other objectives in place, as detailed in the ISO 14001 management system, focus on caring for the environment, such as through reducing our carbon footprint & ensuring energy efficiency.
Community Waste has broad experience of satisfying local authority requirements enabling the accurate recording of figures for recycling percentage targets and for landfill diversion (LATS targets). We operate our facilities to maximum efficiency producing maximum recycling rates of well over ninety percent. Our computer software systems record all data and Community Waste�� experienced transport division ensures the smooth combined collection and dispatch.
