Huizhou Desay Power is a high-tech Sino-foreign joint venture established and controlled by Huizhou Desay Group Co.,Ltd. The investment of the first phase was HK$60 million and total investment was more than RMB200 million.
Desay Power mainly is engaged in manufacturing all kinds of batteries and designing intellectualized charging project since it was founded. Currently, the company mainly manufactures and markets ” Desay ” Brand batteries in series and chargers. They are widely applied in all kinds of digital products, which use Ni-MH, Li-ion, Li-Polymer batteries, such as mobile telephone, video camera, portable VCD/DVD, portable computer. Our products are recognized by many customers and consumers, especially the chargers for Li-ion batteries and Ni-MH batteries are in the leading position in high-tech, large scale, various products etc… It has also developed alkaline batteries with leakage below 0.01 percent and 15 percent more capacity than the industry standard.
Over the past seven years, it has diligently worked to develop the right products at the right time for buyers of batteries and chargers worldwide. Sometimes it anticipated market needs and had models already waiting when a client came to it. Sometimes it worked with its customers to design a new product from scratch. Overall, it has developed 500 items, sourced by buyers in 30 countries in Asia, North America and Europe. Its clients include Sony, Toshiba and Philips.
Manufacturing is completed at its three ISO9001:2000-and ISO14001-certified factories. Equipped with its own molding workshop and advanced SMT lines. It turns out over$36 million worth of products annually. And it has already got the following prizes:
In 2002, DESAY Power Tech, Co., Ltd was entitled “ New& High Technology Enterprise” by Guangdong Provincial Government
In 2003, DESAY Alkali-Manganese battery was awarded “ Famous-Brand Product of Guangdong”
In 2004, DESAY Alkali-Manganese battery and Zinc-Manganese battery were awarded “National Exemption Product”
